Historical annual-levy arrears: company strike-off proceedings to begin in December.
Official administrative announcement, published 30 September 2026: the Registrar will begin strike-off proceedings in December 2026 against companies owing annual levies for any year from 2012 to 2023. This is enforcement under existing law, not a new levy or immediate dissolution in December.
The notice provides for publication in the Official Gazette and a three-month period before strike-off, unless cause to the contrary is shown. Section 327 of the Companies Law, Cap. 113, governs the procedure. Directors, shareholders and company administrators should treat this as a risk to the company’s continued registration.
Practical next step: reconcile historical levy records now, arrange payment of outstanding amounts or resolve discrepancies with the Registrar, and monitor notices sent to the registered office. Do not wait for the strike-off process to start.
